July 13, 2010 Dear Rich and the Rich Posmontier Ensemble, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for playing such an amazing set at our wedding. You guys were unbelievable and we fell so lucky to have been able to have you play at our wedding. You truly made the night so memorable. Every guest has continued to tell us that you were the best band they have ever heard at a wedding (or at any event for that matter). Thank you for making the trip all the way out East to Montauk [Long Island]. I never had the chance to ask you about the travel time but I hope you didn’t hit too much traffic. Thank you also for all the songs you learned (Amanda, Empire State of Mind, Bad Romance, etc.) for us! June 28, 2010 Dear Rich, I wanted to thank you again for the AMAZING job the band did at our wedding this past Saturday. I think every guest commented on how excellent the music was. You kept people dancing all evening, and you got all the little details (the names of the bridal party, my grandmother's happy birthday, etc) right. We really could not have asked for a more talented group of musicians or a more professional job coordinating the flow of the evening. I also wanted to thank you for learning "This Is the First Day of My Life" on such short notice. It's one of my favorite songs. I hope you pass our heartfelt appreciation on to the band members. January 6, 2010 Many thanks to you and everyone in the band for the wonderful music at the reception. As you saw, the dance floor was full all night long. September 15, 2009 Rich, Even though we’ve seen you a number of times at other events, you exceeded our expectations and even out did yourself this past Saturday at our daughter’s wedding at The Franklin Institute.You were a pleasure to work with during the planning. The music at the ceremony was perfect and adding the bass at the cocktail hour really added depth to the sound. The dinner/reception was outstanding with a softer sound during the meal and you really knew when to crank it up. The additional horn was more than worth the cost and everyone kept repeating how great the band was. My only complaint was how sore my feet were the next morning from all of the dancing. Everything was FANTASTIC and the evening entertainment was truly IMPRESSIVE. When Lauren and I first listened to you play some of your sample music at your practice studio we were simply amazed at the vocal and musical talent you all possessed. We did several on-line searches across countless DJs and bands, but yours was the only band we went to preview and, after that meeting, we agreed that there was no one else that could perform as you did. Lauren and I were blown away by the INCREDIBLE performance you put on at our wedding on September 19th. Throughout the entire reception we never encountered a dull moment in the dining and dancing music entertainment. That was the main focus that you conveyed to me right away in your performance. I remember right after the salad was served that the band began playing and the entire room just got up and started dancing. Right away I looked at the dance floor and it was packed with all our family and friends. It wasn’t like slowly, one by one, the couples got to the dance floor; it just happened so quickly, everyone headed right for the floor. That brought the biggest smile to my face and I thank you all. All of our family and friends had a wonderful time and were impressed by the band. I also want to thank you for making Lauren’s surprise trip announcement to Aruba a joyous memory she’ll never forget. It was the perfect way to tell her and she can’t stop telling everyone about it. Dear Rich: I am sorry it took so much time to comment formally on the Band’s appearance and performance at my daughter, Jacqueline’s, wedding. The first thing that comes to mind is the commitment that you and your band members made on such a terrible day of weather on December 19th. I believe the experts said it was one of the worst snowstorms in December in over 40 years. Obviously, Jackie, my wife and I were very concerned early in the morning on the day of the wedding, wondering if this wedding for 330 people was going to come off. I guess Jackie, Phil, my wife and I have true friends and family because the attrition rate was normal. But you guys made the wedding. The quality of your performance and appearance was excellent. Over the past two weeks people have been calling us or commenting in person on how impressed they were with your group. Many said it was the best wedding they have been to and much of it is attributed to your band. Many commented that when they have their next big event (wedding or otherwise) your band would be their choice. So, in conclusion and summary: 1. Dear Rich,
I had all intentions of sending a handwritten note (which is more personal) but decided to send this email instead so that I can fit everything I want to say in this email.
Thank you and your band for being a major contributor to the success of our daughter Rachel's wedding. From the pre ceremony music, to the wedding processional and then to the reception, everything was wonderful. I appreciate your professionalism and the time you and Sharon spent in talking with us to insure that the music and wedding reflected Rachel and Dave. As you know, we believe that a band can make or break a party - and you certainly made Rachel and Dave's wedding musically fantastic! The dance floor was packed and your song sets were great. I also think that the flow of the night was amazing - but went too quickly.
We also appreciate the songs that you learned for the wedding, especially "You Can Call Me Al". Allan and his Uncle Al really enjoyed that one!
Rich, we do not have any more children but hope that our recommendations lead to us being at another affair where you and your band will play. Please do not hesitate to use as a reference as we highly recommend the Rich Posmontier Ensemble.
